Game of Thrones Final Season Episode Runtimes Are Shorter Than You Thought

The final season of Game of Thrones might be the shortest one to date with only 6 episodes, but don't let that get you down.

Following the release earlier this month of a trailer that unsurprisingly served to amp up fan excitement even more for season 8, here without further ado are the details for each of the season's episodes. The season's six episodes felt more like "six movies" than they did a set of TV episodes, he insisted, which many people took to be a reference to their length. The longest will be episode three at 82 minutes, followed by episode four at 78 minutes and the final two episodes both clocking in at 80 minutes apiece.

To save you a trip to your local calculator, that all totals to 432 minutes (or 7 hours and 12 minutes) of unbridled Game of Thrones goodness.

Apple Music is Now Available on The Amazon Fire TV
The news of this upgrade comes as Apple recently announced it now has over 50 million subscribers to Music. Along with this music streaming plan, it's thought Apple could soon launch a similar service for video.

Episode 4 on May 5 will be 1 hour and 18 minutes, and the final two episodes of the entire series will each be 1 hour and 20 minutes.

The final season begins on 14 April, with the final ever episode arriving on 19 May. The cabler also revealed the debut dates for each of the last episodes, the first of which premieres on April 14.

Another pointed out that HBO has counted "making of material" shown at the end of the episodes in their official runtimes, raising questions about how much of these times are devoted only to the story. "When brands and television series alike are able to move beyond their primary platform and spill into popular culture, we see inspiration".
