Keith Flint's The Prodigy bandmates have shared a heartbreaking tribute to the late musician ahead of a fundraiser rave in London to honour the late star, with all profits going to mental health charities.

Coroner's officer Lynsey Chaffe told the hearing: "Police attended, all protocols were followed and his death was confirmed as not suspicious".

A post-mortem examination was carried out at Broomfield Hospital on March 7. Toxicology reports are still to be filed, with the inquest now adjourned until July 23 when a full hearing will take place.

Now, an inquest has heard the Keith sadly died by suicide.

The singer rose to fame in the Brit Award-winning electronic band in the 1990s and was known for hits including Firestarter and Breathe.

"Following the tragic death of Keith Flint all forthcoming Prodigy shows will be cancelled with immediate effect".

It read: "It is with deepest shock and sadness that we can confirm the death of our brother and best friend Keith Flint". A true legend. My condolences to you all. "He will be forever missed", the post read before thanking followers in advance for "respecting the privacy of all concerned at this time". He was only 49 years old.

The band had only recently released their seventh studio album, No Tourists, in November a year ago, and had embarked on a world tour.

Numerous band's followers have since commented on the post, with one fan writing, "So sad about this and so sorry for dear Keith bless him".
