What seems to be the unfortunate reality is that Murray will not be high on the Broncos' draft board despite his measurement unless John Elway was playing some serious misdirection. Unless the Dolphins choose to move up for an earlier pick, of course.

If you're cynical like me, you view Thursday's developments as such: Murray beefed up to hit a number that would ease worries about his durability. I happen to think he's a lock to go first overall, probably to the Arizona Cardinals, but that remains to be seen at this point. The undersized, exciting player is not as undersized as originally thought.

Murray, 21, is a player who has been heavily associated with the Jags with the draft nearing due to their obvious need at quarterback. At the poking-and-prodding-and-measuring combine, Murray was expected to be closer to 5-9, which would have stacked the odds against him.

Chinese Mainland Stocks Build On Yesterday's Gains
A US$1 trillion rally in Chinese stocks has another equity gauge headed for a bull market. The Shenzhen Component Index ended at 9,134.58 points, an increase of 5.59 percent.

While no quarterback under six feet tall has ever been drafted in the first round, Murray might be the first.

According to Grier, the interview process is a more significant indicator of a quarterback's National Football League potential than their on-field work. "You talking about the height? I'm trying to make that clear".

The Dolphins will likely move on from Ryan Tannehill, who could be traded this week or released with a June 1 designation that will save Miami $18.75 million. That's a bit short of the NFL's traditional quarterback template.
