Lakers Josh Hart done for season with right knee injury

Los Angeles Lakers guard Josh Hart underwent a procedure on his right knee patellar tendon and will be out about three months, according to the team.

"Hart played through problems in his right knee for several weeks", Tania Ganguli of the Los Angeles Times reported.

Hart has missed the Lakers' last four contests and will be sidelined for the final seven games of the regular season.

Hart averaged 7.9 points and 4.2 rebounds as a rookie in 2017-18.

Heathrow reveals 18-strong shortlist of construction sites for third runway expansion
The 18 shortlisted sites were unveiled today (Thursday) after a process which has been ongoing over this past number of years. The winners will be announced early next year, with work due to start in 2021.

Although Hart was initially optimistic about the injection, he shared he was meeting with team doctors to evaluate his options recently.

After an excellent start to the season where he played great defense and shot the ball well from the 3-point line, Hart's season tailed off considerably when the calendar turned to 2019.

In 67 appearances during the 2018-19 National Basketball Association season, Hart averaged 7.8 points on 33.6 percent shooting from the three-point line in 25.6 minutes.
