Lakers to re-evaluate Lonzo Ball’s injury status in a week

The Los Angeles Lakers expect to be without Lonzo Ball for at least another week.

Lonzo Ball will need another week to recover from an ankle injury.

But, he was later diagnosed with a bone bruise, which delayed his return. Initially, the team reported that he'll be out for four to six weeks.

Not only is he a gifted playmaker, but his aggressiveness on the defensive end has been his main contribution to the Lakers. It will then match up with the Nuggets on Wednesday (Thursday, Manila time).

The team has been riddled with a lot of distraction throughout the season.

With Rajon Rondo and LeBron James finally healthy, the Lakers can start walking the walk instead of talking the talk. Many believe that once he returns, the Lakers will get that much-needed boost to make a run at the playoffs.
