Snow continues overnight, but the rain/snow line will be inching north as some low level warm air gets brought in from the south.

A winter storm warning is in place from 1pm on Sunday until 7am on Monday, with Philadelphia and Boston also set to be battered by the snow storm.

According to the National Weather Service, wind chills in northern IL could drop to minus-28 (minus-33 Celsius) by Monday morning.

A total of six to eight inches of snow accumulation are expected overnight.

A National Weather Service spokesman said: "Heavy snow possible from the Central Appalachians to Northern New England.Heavy rain possible over the Southeast". "We are closely monitoring the forecast, which includes a prediction of a second potential snowstorm on Sunday night", the district said in a statement.
