Linda McMahon to step down from Small Business Administration

Linda McMahon will resign her post as head of Small Business Association, according to a Politico.com story.

McMahon donated more than $6 million to Trump's 2016 campaign, according to an analysis of Federal Election Commission data by the Center for Public Integrity.

She was expected to join the president and first lady Melania Trump at Mar-a-Lago this weekend.

She was a top Trump donor before joining his administration.

Although McMahon's plans remain unclear, a source told the news outlet that she intends to help fundraise for President Donald Trump's 2020 re-election bid.

This was a surprise for some because she was thought to have been in line to replace Wilbur Ross, but she is now taking this new gig instead.

NASA Administrator vows agency will achieve 2024 Moon goal
The schedule is four years ahead of NASA's current plan of sending crew to the surface of the moon by 2028. Americans will return to the Moon for long-term exploration, followed by missions to Mars and beyond.

McMahon is one of the highest-ranking women in government but was under the radar in Trump's administration for more than two years.

When she came to the office, she said one of her first objectives, as the Administrator was to promote SBA's offerings throughout the country. She has headed the SBA since 2017.

"The fact is that I've known her for a long time". "I wish to thank the President and I will continue to be a strong advocate for him and his policies".

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham also commented on McMahon's departure, expressing his disappointment and praising her work.

McMahon's public foray into politics began a decade ago when she was appointed to the Connecticut State Board of Education in January 2009.

During a speech at the National Press Club previous year, McMahon said that she went through bankruptcy before founding WWE, which was a tough experience early in her career.
