With the release date for Mortal Kombat 11 rapidly approaching (it's literally out next month), now seems as a good a time as ever for developer NetherRealm Studios to drop a brand new trailer into our laps.

The trailer also gives us a look at Johnny Cage interacting with his younger, time-displaced self, and he's not impressed.

Players will be exploring different eras of the Mortal Kombat history in the story mode as they'll have access to characters from the past and present to use to defeat Shao Khan's Outworld armies.

According to Greenberg, someone has been meddling with the game's Wikipedia page, adding notes that suggest Mortal Kombat 11 runs on Unreal Engine 4.
