The NFL's social media team was very excited, too, as they photoshopped an image of Brown standing with Raiders QB Derek Carr and fellow Raiders WR Jordy Nelson with the caption "Welcome to #RaiderNation".

The departure of Nelson comes after the organization gave him a $3.6 million roster bonus in December. Jon Gruden loves fast receivers, and now he has three of them, though J.J.is by far the fastest of the bunch, as his 4.28 40 back in 2015 is still the fifth-best mark in Combine history.

During his National Football League career, McCarron has completed 87-of-136 passes for 928 yards with six touchdowns and two interceptions in 13 regular-season games.

Nelson, who turns 34 on May 31, had this to say when asked late past year if he planned to play for the Raiders in 2019: "It's not always the player's decision".

Axelrod teased the quote ahead of his interview with Bush that will be aired on Saturday night. Not all of Bush's comments toward Trump have been negative.

Nelson wasn't an ideal complement to newcomers Antonio Brown and Tyrell Williams (think quick slot type), so just add that $3.6 million to that $52.1 million guaranteed. He has 613 catches for 8,587 yards and 72 touchdowns in his career.

Alameda County Supervisor Nate Miley, who chairs the authority's board, said the new agreement "is a better deal for the authority, the city of Oakland and Alameda County and the taxpayers" than previous lease agreements.

The Oakland Raiders have re-signed exclusive rights free agent LB Jason Cabinda and signed unrestricted free agent G Chaz Green, the club announced Friday.
