NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reported Thursday that free agent wideout Bruce Ellington is going to sign a one-year contract with the Pats.

Ellington reportedly was going to visit the Patriots on Thursday. Ellington will also sign with New England.

At 6-foot-3, 200 pounds, Harris immediately becomes the tallest member of the Patriots' receiving corps, which lost big-bodied Cordarrelle Patterson in free agency.

Last season, Harris enjoyed a career outing in a Week 6 loss the Falcons, snaring 10 passes for 124 yards, both career highs.

Harris, who went undrafted out of Cal in 2016, spent the last three years with the Washington Redskins. He's caught 79 passes for 769 yards and five touchdowns in his career with the 49ers, Texans and Lions.

As of Thursday, the team has Julian Edelman, Phillip Dorsett, Matthew Slater, Ellington, Harris, Braxton Berrios and Damoun Patterson now signed at wide receiver for next season.
