PewDiePie has been on a tight shoulder to shoulder race with the top Indian entertainment music channel T-Series on You Tube for a very long time now. For the most part, PewDiePie has maintained the lead, though he has briefly lost to T-Series a time or two.

The competition between the two YouTube channels has been so ardent that it has warranted a real-time countdown.

As reported by Variety, today (March 20) at 12pm Pacific Time, T-Series' had 90.394 million subscribers, compared to PewDiePie's 90.387m. It is led by Bhushan Kumar, who is the son of T-Series founder Gulshan Kumar.

Currently, T-series has over 90.49 million subscribers while PewDiePie has subscribers with a count of less than 90.47 million.

The insane turn of events even led to the YouTuber himself turning into the biggest K-Pop BTS fan. Likewise, it was reported that few programmers had hacked PewDiePie's record and gave him random supporters. One fan even created a Twitter account, which sends alerts whenever the subscriber difference between the two drops below 10,000. Interestingly, T-Series has finally won the battle after starting a campaign #BharatWins on social media. The last mile 4G availability in India enables the general population to get exposure to the internet and YouTube which eventually helped T-Series as well as other creators.
