Sniper Elite V2 Remastered Confirmed, Sniper Elite 5 Coming in 2020

Sniper Elite V2 Remastered

Sniper Elite V2 Remastered

Sniper Elite V2 Remastered will be released both digitally and at retail later this year.

If you're new to Sniper Elite III you can now enjoy the same award-winning sniping but now with 9 additional DLC packs - including 3 new campaign missions - all for a great new price.

Platforms have not yet been announced for the upcoming mainline entry mentioned above, and new details aren't expected to be shared on that project until 2020, so it's unclear whether or not that one also stands a chance of launching on Switch.

For those who want to snag a picture of their kills (pretty morbid, but okay), the photo mode allows you to pause and scrub through the kill frame-by-frame to get exactly the right moment, line up the shot with ideal positioning, apply a filter, adjust the lighting, and snap for a nice battlefield memento.

World Rugby's Nations Championship plans include drafting in promotion and relegation for the Six Nations and the Rugby Championship.

Rebellion also announced that a Sniper Elite VR game and a sequel to Sniper Elite 4 are in development. While there aren't any details about the game, if it manages to one-up the fourth game it should be wonderful.

While Xbox's official YouTube channel let the trailer leak early, the video has now been taken down.

Also out this year will be Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition for Nintendo Switch, which will feature the main game and its DLC as well as local wireless multiplayer and motion control support to make full use of the system's capabilities. It will introduce new playable characters, a brand new photo mode, expanded online multiplayer for up to 16 combatants, as well as all the content ever released for the game. This isn't hugely surprising, considering that the game originally released on PS3 and Xbox 360, as well as current gen consoles. Allegedly, V2 Remastered is just a "mere morsel" of what the developer has in store.
