Russo Brothers Recruit Tom Holland for Cherry

Indian fans will be getting a chance to interact with Joe Russo as the Avengers: Endgame director will be flying down to Mumbai to kick-off his Asia Pacific promotional tour for the film. Enter: Cherry, a true-life adaptation of author Nico Walker's semi-autobiographical novel of the same name.

The much-awaited film is the second part of Joe and his brother Anthony's two-part series within the Marvel Cinematic Universe which started with last year's blockbuster Avengers: Infinity War. In real life, Walker was captured after executing multiple heists, and is now serving 11 years in federal prison; he's scheduled to get out in November 2020.

This news comes to us courtesy of Variety, which exclusively reported news of Holland's involvement in Cherry, expected to be the Russo brothers' first non-Marvel feature film in over a decade.

Alex Nation and Richie Strahan clash over their 'brutal' breakup
'So you're honestly sitting there saying you were ideal in our relationship?' Alex fires back. Less than a year later she began a relationship with her footy mate Maegan Luxa.

Other things we know about Cherry are these simple facts: The Path creator and executive producer Jessica Goldberg will write the script, and Mike Larocca of the Russos' AGBO studio will produce.

The controversy surrounding Brie Larson snowballed in the weeks prior to its release, with people review bombing the film online after comments from Brie Larson were taken out of context after she expressed her desire to see more diversity included in the Hollywood press circuit.

The Russos also have a number of other productions on their slate already, though majority have the brothers acting as producers behind the scenes. Holland is presumably being eyed to play him. Outside of the MCU, Holland lends his voice to Spies in Disguise this September and has the 2020 releases The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle, Chaos Walking, The Devil All the Time, and Disney/Pixar's Onward on tap.
