Trump says to sign executive order requiring 'free speech' at colleges

Trump made the announcement after inviting Hayden Williams, the conservative activist attacked at Berkeley, to the stage to speak.

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Saturday he would soon sign an executive order requiring American universities and colleges to maintain "free speech" on campuses. Conservatives have accused some colleges of trying to supress anti-liberal viewpoints. "And we could never allow that to happen".

Williams said if Trump kept defending them, they would keep defending him. Trump praised him for being able to take a punch and advised him to sue his attacker, Berkeley and maybe the state of California.
