Vols beat No. 4 Kentucky, 71-52

The No. 4 Kentucky Wildcats are looking to secure a big road victory against No. 7 Tennessee in a rematch of SEC regular season contenders.

The Volunteers are tied with Kentucky atop the SEC standings with a conference record of 13-2 and 25-3 overall. The Wildcats dominated the first meeting at Rupp Arena with an 86-69 victory.

"We came back and realized that we had to get better defensively".

PJ Washington scored 13 points but was the lone Kentucky player in double figures as the Wildcats lost for just the second time in 16 games.

Ty Jerome added 13 points and De'Andre Hunter had 12 for the Cavaliers, who maintained at least a share of the lead in the ACC pending North Carolina's game at Clemson later Saturday. The Vols haven't lost a home game since falling 94-84 to Auburn on January 2, 2018. "Our young kids played like freshmen, played like deer in headlights". Kentucky's EJ Montgomery already had three fouls by then.

Meanwhile Beckinsale was linked to British comedian Jack Whitehall late previous year and split from husband Len Wiseman in 2016. Twitter users jumped in on the fun of captioning the awkward encounter as Antoni looked stoic next to the amorous couple.

With national player of the year candidate Zion Williamson sidelined for a third straight game with a mild right knee sprain, the Blue Devils never trailed and shot 57 percent from the field. Montgomery had filled Travis' spot in the starting lineup for wins over Auburn and Arkansas. Richards got that assignment Saturday and made his first start since November 23.

Tennessee exacted revenge against Kentucky on Saturday in a 71-52 victory vs. United Kingdom and will move back up to the top line of the projected bracket when it is posted on Sunday.

Former Tennessee coach Wade Houston and his son, former Tennessee and National Basketball Association star Allan Houston, received standing ovations as they were introduced during a timeout.

Kentucky is at MS on Tuesday.
