Still-Recovering Whoopi Goldberg Makes Surprise Visit On ‘The View’, Thanks TMZ For Not Tracking Her Down

Whoopi Goldberg made a surprise return to "The View" Thursday, her first appearance since February 5 when she took an extended leave to recover from pneumonia. The only way I'm going to get better is if I begin.

Admitting that "makeup helps" her look better, Goldberg - who has not hosted the show since February 6 - went on to explain that her recovery is not over yet.

Goldberg said it was her first "foray" out but that she is still dealing with remnants of her illness.

"WHOOPI IS HERE!" The View tweeted, along with four red emojis.

"Hey, yes, it's me". And so they had to pump a lot of stuff out of me. "I'm not dead. Here's what happened".

"I had pneumonia and I was septic. It was nothing but white, which meant there was stuff in there".

Michael Bennett lists all the reasons he used to hate the Patriots
In his one season with the Eagles, Bennett was first on the team with 15 tackles for loss and second with nine sacks. Tom and I lol", Martellus replied to a tweet stating he needs to satisfy Brady's request and rejoin the Patriots.

"One of the things I discovered is your insurance really doesn't do much for you", she said. "Good news: I didn't".

The actress was back in her seat on The View! "And the people who are saying "no" to you are not doctors, they are people looking at algorithms". Who told them they could use that money when I wasn't using it?

Whoopi stressed how close she was to dying, saying, "There's death and here's me". She added that she plans to be around for the Monday, March 18, broadcast. "Why is it I've been paying insurance for nearly 60 years and it hasn't rolled over? To everybody, see you soon".

Behar previously told viewers about Goldberg's diagnosis during the February 20 broadcast while simultaneously debunking rumors that Goldberg would be the surprise host of the Oscars, which were just a few days away at that point. "Well it could", she said. "She's actually recovering from pneumonia. If you do the machine and you do this breathing thing, you won't have to get this operation", she said.

"There are all these conspiracy theories on the internet that she's not really sick and she's secretly preparing to host the Oscars", she continued.

Behar, 76, also debunked the rumor that Goldberg - who has hosted the Academy Awards four times throughout her career - was secretly prepping for the awards show, which was then just a few days away.
