Astra Sharma described reaching the final of the Bogota Open as "unreal" after the unheralded Australian stunned former victor Lara Arruabarrena in the last four on Saturday.

Sixth-seed Anisimova looked to be facing defeat with Sharma two games away from victory at 6-4 4-4, but the 17-year-old dominated from that point on to secure a 4-6 6-4 6-1 win. The 17-year-old, Amanda Anisimova knocked down the Australian, Astra Sharma in three sets in the final of Copa Colsanitas in the Colombian capital of Bogota. She converted five of eight opportunities on Pliskova's serve, winning the first nine games of the match overall.

A year ago, Anisimova was well outside the Top 100, she'll now climb into the Top 55.

Anisimova and Sharma have never faced each other in WTA play.
