The details are sketchy as of now but we can report that Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Jalen Mills was arrested early Saturday morning in Washington D.C.

The police report, obtained by NFL.com, states that at 2:56 a.m. EST, Mills and Robinson were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated into a physical altercation. According to The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane, Mills has since paid a $35 fine, with both players apparently warranting charges of disorderly affray. Police said Robinson was transported to Sibley Hospital for treatment. "We will not extend him a qualifying offer for the 2019-20 season", the National Basketball Association team said in a statement.

The Eagles have not released a statement about the fight. Since then, both the Eagles and Wizards have acknowledged Mills' and Robinson's involvement in the incident, saying they are "aware of the situation". He was a member of the Eagles' Super Bowl championship team after the 2017 season, when he started 15 of 16 regular-season games.

The small forward was drafted by the Wizards out of Florida and played sparingly for the Wizards over two seasons, much of those spent with the team's G League affiliate.
