The team later listed Embiid as doubtful for Saturday's game.

Foot and knee injuries have sidelined him for long periods of time, including a torn meniscus in his ailing left knee suffered in 2017.

On Friday, Embiid told reporters that he has "no idea" what his playing status is ahead of Saturday. "That's my experience. We'll adjust if he doesn't play".
