Here is how to complete the first challenge of the Fortnite Buccaneer's Bounty Event.

Epic Games has announced a new Fortnite: Battle Royale event with free challenges and exclusive rewards for the v8.30 update.

The first challenge will reward Fortnite players with a pirate-themed glider to go along with Season 8's theme.

The challenges are live now, so jump in and start earning the free rewards if you haven't already.

What are the Buccaneer Challenges?

Remember, the challenge requires players to visit the Pirate Camps in different matches so the quickest way to complete the challenge is to kill yourself once you have landed at the camp and then get into another match. Below, you'll find their locations and a map along with some tips regarding the existing challenges that involve the pirate camps.

Challenges are unlocking daily, with the final quest to be revealed on April 13 - players will have six days to unlock the rewards.

For a Week 5 challenge, you'll need to secure three eliminations while inside a pirate camp.

Respawn buses were added to Fortnite in the latest update.

The addition of Respawn Vans and the removal of the Siphon in-game mechanic truly changes Fortnite's meta. This will allow players to bring their teammates back to life much like Apex Legends' respawn beacons.

Fortnite players who have been practicing for months are now facing a steep hill to climb as Epic continues to update and change Fortnite each week, which leaves them with little time to prepare.
