Fox’s Pirro back on air after remarks on Muslim politician

Judge Jeanine Pirro was back on Fox News Saturday night after a two-week absence, calling on those who concocted the Russian collusion investigation to get "behind-the-bars justice".

Pirro did tweet a "right back at ya" at 7:23 p.m. EST on Friday to Dr. Sebastian Gorka after the former Trump deputy assistant tweeted the news of her return to Fox News the previous day. However, her first guest for the evening, Rudy Giuliani, did allude to it. Sort of. Although disciplinary action was not confirmed, "Justice With Judge Jeanine" was not broadcast for two weeks.

Pirro had been off the air after questioning whether Rep. Ilhan Omar was more loyal to Muslim Sharia law than to the US Constitution.

Algeria President Abdelaziz Bouteflika resigns
He had also vowed to undertake unspecified measures for the sake of stability, making many wonder what would happen next. Once a close ally of Mr Bouteflika, Gen Salah first broached the possibility of impeachment last week.

He added: "She had a really serious family emergency come up, couldn't be with us".

Fox said at the time it "strongly condemned" Pirro's comments. The network didn't explain her subsequent absence, declining to comment on what it called "internal scheduling matters". However, she didn't mention the family emergency in her opening comments Saturday.

Pirro was slated to appear Friday night on "The Sean Hannity Show", but cancelled due to what Hannity called a "serious family emergency". It isn't known if the emergency will prevent the Fox News weekend host's return, but some indicators seemed positive.
