The show's final season begins on April 14. After seven seasons of hearing the foreboding "winter is coming" warning, the zombie-like White Walkers have breached The Wall and are bringing with them snow, an ice dragon, and plenty of last-hurrah marketing tie-ins. Just like winter, those cookies are finally here.

One of the best things about Game of Thrones, and something all fans of the series should be aware of, is the opening credits sequence. The cookie itself is just a standard chocolate-wafer-and-creme-filling-affair. Oreo announced a line of limited-edition cookies embossed with the emblems of House Lannister, House Targaryen, House Stark, and the Night King that will hit shelves on April 8.

House Lannister, House Targaryen, House Stark and the Night King are all featured on the confections, and fans can pledge their fealty with #GameofCookies and #ForTheThrone on social media.

Back in February, Nabisco confirmed that the rumors were true, and now, with less than two weeks left before the premiere of the HBO blockbuster's eighth and final season, we've got all the sweet, sweet details on the limited edition treats.

It's a simple idea that proves effective and oddly hypnotizing.
