The Memphis Grizzlies are shaking things up. If that's the direction the franchise takes, it will be spearheaded by a new front office.

The Grizzlies dismissed head coach J.B. Bickerstaff on Thursday, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. Bickerstaff originally took over after David Fizdale was sacked in November 2017.

In his two years with the Grizzlies, Bickerstaff compiled a combined mark of 48-97. His teams failed to make the playoffs.

The Memphis Grizzlies fired coach J.B. Bickerstaff and demoted general manager Chris Wallace to a scouting position as part of a major management overhaul, the National Basketball Association team announced on Thursday.

After Saturday's match, Simeone blamed the red card on bad luck and said that Barcelona players get away with similar incidents. Atletico can appeal Thursday's ruling against Costa.

Wallace had replaced Jerry West as Grizzlies general manager in 2007.

In addition, the franchise reassigned general manager Chris Wallace to a scouting position and vice president John Hollinger is slated to move over to a senior advisory role with the team. The team finished 33-49 in 2018-19. The Grizzlies reached the playoffs seven straight years before missing in each of the past two seasons.

Now, it looks like the Grizzlies are lining themselves up for a major rebuild.

Moving on from Conley would allow Memphis to build around promising rookie Jaren Jackson Jr., the No. 2 pick who averaged 13.8 points per game before being sidelined with a leg injury.
