"Today" show host Hoda Kotb has welcomed another daughter.

"You hope, you pray and you dream about things, and we thought about Hope", she explained of her daughter's name, adding she chose Catherine after her best friend's daughter.

Kathie Lee Gifford is "thrilled" about the new addition to Hoda Kotb's family. The TV personality also shared her first child, Haley Joy, 2, is ecstatic about becoming a big sister. And it's the closest thing to a live birth I think you'll ever see.

Even Craig Melvin, who was reporting from Paris after Monday's Notre Dame Cathedral fire, got in on the celebration, jokingly warning Kotb, "As a parent of two?"

Kotb said she and her longtime partner, Joel Schiffman, were there when the baby was born. The Today crew couldn't be happier for Kotb, who's been very open about her adoption journey with her first daughter in 2017.

Kotb says Haley is marching around saying "I'm a big sister". "I'm feeding her and I can't believe it. But man, I'm so happy here!" Kotb recalled, "I stopped for a minute. In that moment I was like, 'Oh my god, my heart just grew!'"

"I think sometimes you think either I can't ... or, I waited too long, or circumstances didn't intend for me, and I should be grateful to have this life, and why would I ask for something more?" But one day I was sitting with my boyfriend and I said to him, 'I'm going to have to talk to you about something because I can't push it down anymore, push it away.' I said, 'Don't answer now. "I can't believe it's happening, y'all".
