The Met Office forecaster Helen Roberts said there would be dry, sunny and very warm conditions with temperatures rising on Saturday and Sunday to a possible 27C on Easter Monday.

Tonight there could be some mist or fog and temperatures will fall to around 5C.

Highs will be in the low-80s area wide by Monday as we still look to see plenty of sunshine, this time with a few high clouds streaming through the area.

Clear, cool, and turning calm later this evening with temperatures in the upper 50s by 9PM and lows in the mid 40s.

The Met Office said it is set to be "a glorious day" in most areas, but outbursts of rain which are expected to clip north west Scotland on Saturday will be the exception. Winds will be light and variable.

The record temperature for Easter Sunday in the United Kingdom is 25.3C reached in Solent, Hampshire in April 2011. This is due to uncertainty in the positioning of a slow-moving frontal system which is battling against the high pressure to the east. It will be chilly once again tomorrow morning with lows around 40 degrees.

Pop diva Beyonce has reportedly struck a Dollars 60 million deal with Netflix for three projects. If Netflix paid $60 million for three Beyonce projects they got off real cheap.

Finally, Sunday looks like it will be dry in many areas, according to the national forecaster.

However, thickening cloud may bring some scattered rain to south-western, western and north-western coastal fringes during the evening, or more likely, overnight.

It may be a frosty start for some around the state on Easter Sunday, but temperatures are going to warm up nicely for the afternoon!

Met Eireann says that latest indications suggest breezier generally on Monday especially on the west coast.

Southern and eastern coasts won't be as lucky however as temperatures will hit 15 to 17 degrees Celsius.
