The Duchess previously gave fans a clue that she was due in late April/early May.

Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles got everyone's attention Monday when they dropped news that they are planning a trip to Germany on May 7, hinting that Meghan Markle will deliver before that date.

The royal couple set up their account after announcing plans to split households with the Cambridges and they already have millions of followers. The three-day tour will begin in Berlin and take them to Leipzig and Munich, where they will carry out a series of engagements to strengthen the relationship between the United Kingdom and Germany.

But as her relationship with Prince Harry grew more serious, Meghan was forced to shut down her social media accounts as well as her lifestyle blog, The Tig.

However, Meghan and Harry will not be releasing news of the birth right away. Asked if he'd toasted to the happy announcement yet, he replied, "Oh yes, absolutely".

After being asked how she feels about everyone asking about the baby, Meghan replied: "No, it's actually very sweet".

Mets broadcaster Ron Darling will take a leave of absence from SNY broadcasts to undergo surgery, he announced on Saturday night .

"He will make the most wonderful father". "I think he's just so excited".

The plans are a break from recent royal tradition which saw the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge - Harry's brother and sister-in-law - welcome their three children, Prince George, five, Princess Charlotte, three, and 12-month-old Prince Louis, at the Lindo Wing, which is the private maternity ward at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London. The palace will, however, announce when the Duchess of Sussex is in labor.

Long before she was the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan posted frequently on her personal Instagram account, sharing photos of her favourite food, her pet dogs and her enviable travels among other posts.

When the Duke and Duchess founded their own Instagram account to communicate directly with their public, it was assumed they were beginning a new era as inspirational royal influencers.

People were also delighted to see the expectant parents reference their baby using the term coined by royal fans.
