Eddy Kim's agency Mystic Entertainment spoke to various news outlets regarding the allegations and said, "We just saw the report that Eddy Kim was a member of Jung Joon Young's group chat and we're now in the process of checking with him".

On April 3rd, Stone Music Entertainment released an official statement about Roy Kim's involvement with Jung Joon Young's controversial Kakaotalk chatroom: "Roy Kim is now in the USA due to his studies".

"Roy Kim is now studying in the United States but (he is) in the process of arranging a schedule to come back to be questioned", Yonhap cited his agency Stone Music Entertainment as saying. Jung was accused of distributing illegally filmed sex video files and sharing them with other K-pop stars including CNBLUE's Lee Jong-hyun, FT ISLAND's Choi Jong-hoon and Seungri who was expelled from BIGBANG.

An investigation into the incident is being conducted by the National Park Service and the Coconino County Medical Examiner. A man died while visiting the Grand Canyon on Thursday after he fell off a canyon rim in the national park, officials said.

Meanwhile, Kangin, 34, a member of boyband Super Junior, has owned up that he was part of the chatroom used by Jung to distribute videos.

But his agency stated that he had no knowledge of any illicit behaviour committed by chatroom members.

According to Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency on Thursday, police told Kim to appear for a police investigation after finding the photo in a group chat room with fellow entertainer Jung Joon-young and others.
