In the interview, McCarthy described his last night as a Packers head coach as "stunned" and said he expected some changes to the coaching staff at the end of the season but didn't expect it to be handled as poorly as his firing was.

McCarthy brought the Packers a lot of success throughout his time on the sidelines, including four conference championship games and a Super Bowl title. McCarthy recounted the experience of being fired to ESPN, where he explained that he was actually quite shocked by it all and wasn't exactly the biggest fan of how it was all handled. But he was sacked with four games left after the Packers lost at home to Arizona, dropping the team to just 4-7-1. "Mark said it was an ugly loss, and it was time to make a change".

McCarthy went on to say Murphy ignored the human component of letting someone go, and that still bothered him. So that was off. "That's a part of the business", McCarthy said.

McCarthy said that in the wake of his firing, his wife told him she was relieved, because of the toll the job had taken on him in recent years. I don't know if Matt LaFleur will become a quarterback whisperer and turn seemingly nobodies into decent starters for other teams, luck needs to be on the Packers' side when picking. He said something about the offense and the special teams, and he didn't think it was going to get any better.

The burger will cost about a dollar more than its beef alternative, due to its higher cost in producing the plant-based patty. Nestle's new products are made from soy and wheat proteins, with plant extracts such as beetroot, carrot and bell pepper.

With two picks in the first round, the Green Bay Packers are sitting quite well to bolster their team with win-now talent, whether they stand pat and draft at both spots, or use their excess to get into a more optimal position for a specific player, I think the future hinges on this offseason more so than in years past.

When asked if McCarthy believes he deserved a better ending, he said: "Obviously".

"That exit, frankly, Rob, the exit really stuck with me for a while". It was hard to swallow. "I got more than twice as many messages for getting fired then I did when I won the damn Super Bowl".
