A racy front yard Easter display outside a dentist's office has sparked a veritable holy war in one New Jersey city, with one offended resident destroying the "disgusting" creation - which its owner vowed would be resurrected.

The decorations, which Gangi called a "spoof", will be put back up as soon as possible, he said.

Many said their concern was that the display on the lawn of Dr. Wayne Gangi's dental office was "distasteful and disrespectful" around Easter, interpreting the bunny ears and eggs as connected to the holiday. The display has drawn mixed reviews from neighbors, as well as passers-by who stopped to take photos.

Mozek said she isn't concerned about being fined because it would be worth it.

As for Gangi, the dentist told the Record he was aware that some people didn't like his display but never thought it would be vandalized.

She continued: "I got a son, you know, he's 16 years old".

Nashville finished off a tight three-team race for the division crown with a 5-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks. The Oilers said initial X-rays were negative but McDavid would be evaluated by team doctors on Sunday.

"This is Easter come on", one passerby said. He added that he liked Playboy bunnies when he was a child and thought the display would be amusing.

Gangi, who's created various attention-grabbing displays, said he dressed the dummies in lingerie as an homage to the late Hugh Hefner, who would have been 93 on Tuesday.

"I told her, 'Don't do it.' She has to take responsibility for it", he said, adding that she wasn't available to speak to a reporter.

Gangi said the damage to his Grove Street display will cost him between $500 and $1,000 - and he is seeking a restraining order against the woman, according to

Clifton police are investigating the incident, but it wasn't clear Wednesday if the woman will face any charges.
