New York Assemblyman Sean Ryan praised the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority and the food vendor company for the Buffalo Niagara International Airport deciding to ban Chick-fil-A from the airport.

"I strongly urge the NFTA to reverse this decision", the Democrat wrote.

Last month lawmakers in Texas barred Chick-fil-A from setting up shop at the San Antonio airport, much to the anger of Senator Ted Cruz.

"A publicly financed facility like the Buffalo Niagara International Airport is not the appropriate venue for a Chick-fil-A restaurant".

"Because a lot of times you've heard about Chick-fil-A's stance on everything and the fact that they're actually doing something about it now is shocking to me and in a place like Texas", said Madison Brast, a College Station resident.

Did the Release Date for Borderlands 3 Just Get Leaked?
Given we've been waiting for years and years, it does seem like a smart move to get in before other major releases. The tweet, which prompted fans to pre-order the game, said "Mayhem is Coming September 13".

The controversy has become so prominent that even a presidential candidate has now weighed in.

Chick-Fil-A, a national franchise with locations in the New Orleans area, is known for its leaders' staunch Christian and conservative views and has been linked to groups that oppose the legalization of same-sex marriage.

Following the decision to pull Chick-fil-A from Buffalo, a spokesperson for the chain said that recent reports "continue to drive an inaccurate narrative about our brand".

Chick-fil-A's charitable giving foundation "gave $1.8 million to discriminatory groups in 2017, despite reportedly claiming it was winding down that practice past year", ThinkProgress reported last month, citing "newly released tax filings". "We embrace all people, regardless of religion, race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation or gender identity".
