Apparently, Apple is making the body of the 6.1-inch model and 6.5-inch models thicker to offset the increase in size of the triple camera bump. Apple will include the new "A-series" chip, and the phones are also rumoured to come with bigger batteries.

Japanese site, Macotakara, which has a good track record with Apple rumours, has claimed reliable Chinese supply chain sources have said there will be two new iPhone models this year with an 6.1-inch OLED display and an 6.5-inch OLED display. In terms of size, the 6.1-inch iPhone would sit right in between the 5.8-inch iPhone XS and the 6.1-inch iPhone XR, which has an LCD screen and thus slightly bigger bezels. However, the overall thickness of the 6.5-inch model would be 0.2mm thicker than the Xs Max.

As far as the larger model is concerned, it would be about 0.4mm thicker than the iPhone Xs Max, but the camera hump might be narrowed by 0.25mm.

"For 34 years I lived behind the Iron Curtain, so I know only too well what it means once borders vanish, once walls fall". Senior officials were also briefing that checks on animals and food produce, including milk, will have to take place.

Macotakara says that both of these models are expected to ship with USB-C to Lightning cables with an 18W charger, as well as support for reverse wireless charging, which will give the upcoming iPhones the ability to charge the latest AirPods with Wireless Charging Case and other Qi-compatible devices.

The 2019 iPhone 11 lineup featuring a triple camera setup will also be thinner than their 2018 iPhone counterpart. He said that the cameras won't be exclusive to the premium variants, but other features like a frosted glass panel may be exclusive to the iPhone XIS and the iPhone XIS Max.
