The commission said Friday that the infants rolled from their back to their stomach or side while unrestrained in the device. The statement went on to say that all safety warnings are included in their products' instructions as well as online.

The massacres began after the plane carrying the then-Rwandan president Juvénal Habyarimana and Burundian president Cyprien Ntaryamira, who were both Hutu, was shot down with surface-to-air missiles as it prepared to land in Kigali in Rwanda on April 6th 1994.

The Tutsi minority was blamed for downing the plane and the bands of Hutu extremists began slaughtering the Tutsi, with support from the army, police, and militias.

President Paul Kagame has thanked Rwandans and friends of Rwanda for their contribution towards rebuilding the country after the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. Macron ordered a commission of researchers and historians to investigate the "role and involvement of France" in Rwanda from 1990-1994.

The goal is to deliver a report which will be published in two years time. and will be accessible to all. A remembrance is being held Sunday in Paris, but Macron is not attending.

In a statement to the press, El Othmani said Morocco's participation in the event is a testament to "his compassion and solidarity with the people and leaders of Rwanda".

Kagame, who won almost 99 percent of the vote in 2017 pollson a 96 percent turnout, rebuffs the criticism, pointing toRwanda's strong economic growth and relative peace since the genocide.

As recently as a year ago, mass graves were still being found containing thousands of victims who are believed to have been killed during the genocide.
