The legendary Queen and Adam Lambert will be heading to Australia next year for a massive nationwide tour, following the mammoth success of the Freddy Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody.

May, who has been with Queen since its conception in 1970, said bringing the brand-new stadium concert experience down under was "a great opportunity". Lambert said in a written statement announcing the tour. So we made a decision to rip it apart and get even more ambitious.

Excitement as Queen joined by American Idol contestant Adam Lambert for their first tour of NZ in decades.

They'll return to Auckland in February next year, and will also play their first ever shows in Wellington and Dunedin.
