Rapper Kodak Black arrested at US border in NY

A Glock 9mm handgun that was not registered to Black or his passengers was found in the auto, and marijuana was found on the rapper, police said in a statement Thursday.

The 21-year-old rapper was arrested at the United States-Canada border on weapons and drugs charges on Wednesday night (April 17).

He three other men trying to enter the United States via the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge. Four others were traveling in a separate vehicle with Kodak. Saintmelus admitted having two loaded handguns, and a third gun was found in the trunk of the auto along with marijuana, officers said.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the rapper and three others were stopped by U.S. Customs agents Wednesday and arrested for criminal possession of a weapon, as well as a misdemeanor possession of marijuana charge. Two other men in the auto with him, 24-year-old Stetson President and 20-year-old Madarrow Smith, were also arrested on weapons charges.

Black, who also faces a charge in SC of first-degree criminal sexual misconduct for allegedly raping a woman after a 2016 concert, was arraigned in a town court and remanded to county jail with bail set at $20,000 cash or $40,000.

Kodak Black was scheduled to perform two shows Wednesday at the House of Blues in Boston.

Kodak Black had shocked everyone when he suddenly canceled his concert last minute - pissing off a ton of fans in the process - and his team told TMZ his location and reason for the cancellation was unknown.

The confusion as to why Kodak wasn't at his Boston show caused mass chaos amongst concertgoers as they swarmed Kodak's trailer, which made it to the venue, screaming "f**k Kodak".
