Westbrook can no longer average fewer than 10 assists in the 2018-19 regular season after he contributed 15 - along with 19 points and eight rebounds - in a 123-110 win over the Detroit Pistons on Friday.

Blake Griffin is now listed as questionable for this game which is tough news for the Pistons who have struggled mightily in his absence. The game featured 14 lead changes and 14 ties, but the Thunder took control for good at the end of the third quarter before holding the Pistons to just 14 points in the final frame. He is now averaging 22.9 points, 10.6 assists, and 11.1 rebounds for the season.

With assists on the Thunder's first three baskets in a little more than a minute Friday against the Detroit Pistons, Russell Westbrook clinched averaging a triple-double for the third consecutive season.

Bucknell grad transfer Nate Sestina announces he's going to Kentucky
Bucknell went 21-12, ending the season with a 94-80 loss to Colgate in the conference championship game. During his career at Bucknell, Sestina had a 53% FG shooting percentage and shot 36% from three.

4th Quarter: The Thunder held a one-point advantage heading into the fourth quarter, then proceeded to turn the game into a blowout. Jerami Grant also scored 19 for Oklahoma City. He was 4-of-7 from downtown, and added eight rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

In 2016/17 Westbrook was named the league's Most Valuable Player, becoming the first player to average a triple-double for an entire season since Oscar Robertson in 1962. Former Thunder backup point guard Reggie Jackson scored 10 points in 27 minutes. Nights like these aren't very consistent, but they sure are fun to watch when things are working.

The game was critical to both teams' playoff positioning, and it was the Thunder who came out ahead, winning for the second consecutive game and the fourth time in seven games. As a team, the Pistons shot just 38 percent from the field and 11 of 41 from the 3-point line as they scored just 36 points in the first half before getting blown out in the second half as they just didn't have the firepower to hang with the Pacers without the services of their leading scorer in Blake Griffin. George was called for a technical in the third quarter.
