Sacramento Kings Fire Head Coach Dave Joerger

Kings Extend Contract of General Manager Vlade Divac

Kings Extend Contract of General Manager Vlade Divac

The Sacramento Kings are ready to make another coaching change.

A league source, who spoke to The Sacramento Bee on the condition of anonymity, said Divac will have the power to decide the fate of coach Dave Joerger and assistant general manager Brandon Williams. "On behalf of the entire Kings organization, I want to thank Dave for his contributions to our team and I wish him all the best".

And according to Sacramento-based National Basketball Association insider Sam Amick of The Athletic, the Kings have their sights set on embattled Lakers head coach Luke Walton.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Divac and Joerger are scheduled to meet at some point on Thursday to discuss the team's future. The former Lakers and Kings center has been in Sacramento's front office since 2015.

Apple reportedly planning to break up iTunes into standalone apps
That's because without iTunes, iPhone/iPad owners won't be able to sync their devices to their Mac. The Music app will undoubtedly be the new hub for the Apple Music service.

Five of Sacramento's top six scorers are 26 or younger. Heading into the offseason, which path do the Kings take?

Despite the Lakers' disappointing season, there's little more Walton could have done to lead the Purple and Gold to the playoffs. He was widely expected to be fired at the conclusion of the regular season, but the abrupt resignation of Magic Johnson threw that supposed plan into a state of flux.

Considering Walton remains under contract with the Lakers, the Kings would need to receive permission to speak with him.

The Kings' head coaching gig has turned into the graveyard, and the next will be the franchise's 10th since it last qualified for the postseason in 2006.
