Police shoot vehicle after it crashes into Ukrainian Ambassador's car outside London embassy

Police in London opened fire outside the Ukrainian embassy on Saturday after a man rammed his vehicle into the ambassador's empty parked auto at least twice before being arrested, officials said.

The embassy, located in Holland Park in west London, said the official vehicle of the Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK, Natalia Galibarenko, was attacked on Saturday morning at around 10am.

London police say the Saturday morning incident is not ongoing.

In a statement on their website, the Ukrainian embassy said the vehicle was "deliberately rammed".

When the driver was blocked by cops, he slammed into the Ambassador's auto again - forcing police to open fire.

Officers opened fire in west London on Saturday morning while responding to reports of a vehicle collision, the Metropolitan Police has said.

Witnesses say they heard approximately 10 shots fired.

Mr Sienik added: "The culprit was apprehended and taken to a police station".
