Who is Modi's guru?

The BJP leader, in his blog post, had claimed that his party has never regarded those who disagree with it politically as "anti-national".

Taking strong objection to Rahul Gandhi's remarks on the treatment meted out to BJP veteran L K Advani by the party, senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj on Saturday asked the Congress president to maintain "some decorum" in his comments.

"Advani Ji perfectly sums up the true essence of BJP, most notably the guiding Mantra of 'Nation First, Party Next, Self Last", Modi posted.

In a Facebook post, Vadra, who is married to Priyanka Gandhi, posted a photograph of Advani and wrote, "The true leaders with ethics & statesmanship should be rewarded & not ignored", an indirect reference to Advani being benched by the party this time. Advani's blog post is now being seen as an upset acceptance of the same in the current political scenario.

An investigation into the incident is being conducted by the National Park Service and the Coconino County Medical Examiner. A man died while visiting the Grand Canyon on Thursday after he fell off a canyon rim in the national park, officials said.

But Sudheendra Kulkarni, former political aide to both Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Advani, termed Advani's statement the "biggest intervention in the 2019 polls".

Sources said that more than losing his MP seat for the first time, Advani was hurt he was given the news not by BJP president Amit Shah but a lower party functionary.

PDP chief and former Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti reacted to veteran BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani's blog titled "Nation First, Party Next, Self Last" and said that the former should have spoken in the last five years.

Whereas, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee said Advani's views about extending democratic courtesies was significant. Of course, all of the Opposition who raise their voices are not anti-national. He has stressed that "serving the motherland has been the passion and mission" of his life.

Advani also appears to hint at the lack of transparency in electoral funding, for which the Opposition has largely blamed the electoral bonds introduced by the Modi regime.
