Ticket prices surge for Dwyane Wade's final home game with Miami Heat

Heat honor Wade in his last regular season home game

He scored 30 points in the tribute-filled game, and the Heat sent him off a victor by defeating the Philadelphia 76ers 122-99 on Tuesday night.

But no one could have predicted what would follow, and the Heat deserve all the credit in the world for the idea.

And one of the loudest roars came with 11:05 left, when Wade and Udonis Haslem - the only two players to play for all three Heat championship teams, and the longest-tenured Heat players ever - checked in together.

Boston Celtics legend Paul Pierce created an internet firestorm Friday when he said that he had a better playing career than Dwyane Wade.

After the game, Wade did a jersey swap with all of his teammates. "I don't think you can appoint the ideal formula", 76ers coach Brett Brown said.

Obama White House Counsel Greg Craig Indicted for Alleged False Statements
The federal investigation began as an offshoot of the Mueller probe that was later handed off to Manhattan federal prosecutors. According to the Justice Department, Craig worked with Manafort to obtain the contract to create the Tymoshenko report.

Wade went on to give love and thanks to his fans and teammates for the ride that has been his final National Basketball Association season. "I've seen him go into his bag of tricks so many times and just compartmentalize".

Wade's career will end Wednesday in Brooklyn, when Miami plays its regular-season finale. "But I'm truly amazed that he was able to perform like that tonight".

Despite the win, the Heat's playoff hopes were squashed with the Detroit Pistons beating the Memphis Grizzlies 100-93, leaving them a game back in the 10th seed, with the Pistons owning the tie-breaker.

The Heat did not miss the opportunity to pay tribute to the three-time champion and future Hall of Famer. If Miami had won at Toronto on Sunday, McGruder would likely still be with the Heat. The Nets are even with Orlando but own the head-the-head tiebreaker and would finish sixth with a win or if the Magic lose Wednesday at Charlotte. And I'm just so happy he gets to go out on his terms.
