The Duke and Duchess of Sussex sent fans into a frenzy as they unveiled a new Instagram account this afternoon. The account now has more than two million followers.

Unless you've been living under a royalty-free rock, you've probably heard by now that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a second official split from Kensington Palace - namely, an Instagram split.

Just one day after he and wife Meghan Markle, 37, launched their own Instagram, the outing marks the first time one of his appearances will likely be chronicled on their new account, SussexRoyal.

This is not the first time that someone has speculated what baby Sussex will look like since Kensington Palace announced on October 15 that the newly royal couple were expecting their first child together.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are branching off from the rest of the Royal Family - at least on social media.

The scandal with the Malaysian state fund has been making headlines for years and is being investigated in at least six countries. Malaysians voted Mr Najib out of power in May 2018 as disgust grew over corruption and rising living costs.

Now, the royals "are hoping Meghan obeys the rules or else the [new] account will be removed from her", said the source.

Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, call their new account "sussexroyal".

The couple first began dating in Summer 2016 and made their first official public appearance as a couple at the Invictus Games in Toronto, where Markle previously filmed the hit-show Suits.

Their new communications staff will be part of the Buckingham Palace communications team, reporting to the Queen's Communications Secretary Donal McCade.

As for other Instagram records, the Guinness World Record for the most-liked post on the platform is now held by an egg - although who knows whether Meghan and Harry may be able to break this record in the future, too. They say it'll be used for important announcements.
