The couple Wednesday in 1997, and they share son Kevin Hunter, Jr., who is 19. "As always, we remain committed to bringing an entertaining and topical show to our viewers".

A source told the New York Post: "Wendy is not in a good way, everyone is so concerned for her".

Williams and Hunter, who have one child, married in 1999, according to the divorce filing, which also states that the "breakdown of the marriage" occurred six months ago.

She appeared to be battling health problems again the following year when she her speech was slurred during an interview on her show.

Prior to the segment that replaced Banks' interview, it was said she had to cancel due to a "family emergency".

"I'm a better radio personality because I related now to the women who call up and talk about how their man cheated on them", she wrote. "Kevin is supportive of Wendy and they are working through this process together", a personal representative for Williams told PEOPLE in a statement.

Earlier this month, there was chatter that Williams was looking into splitting from Hunter, but a complicated separation because he's also her long-time manager and partner in Wendy Williams Productions. Pointing to her wedding ring, she added, "It ain't going anywhere".

Despite their longtime marriage being riddled with rumors of infidelity for years, neither party has confirmed them. There are things that make it hard to laugh; hard to live the way you want. "Only a couple of the audience members asked me [about it]", she said before adding, "I felt awful".

Stay tuned as we find out more. Though she received tons of support for her candid admission, the news that came next was disheartening: After checking herself out of the sober house, Williams apparently had a relapse with her alcohol addiction, and was rushed to the hospital.
