Wikileaks founder Julian Assange 'to be kicked out of Ecuadorian embassy'

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has been cooped up in the embassy in the British capital for seven years after claiming asylum

WikiLeaks tweeted on Thursday night: "A high-level source within the Ecuadorian state has told WikiLeaks that Julian Assange will be expelled within "hours to days" using the INA papers offshore scandal as a pretext and that it already has an agreement with the United Kingdom for his arrest".

Julian Assange, pictured on the balcony of the Ecuadorian embassy in London is to be "kicked out" according to Wikileaks, the group he founded.

He added: "We should ensure Mr Assange's life is not at risk but he's violated the agreement we have with him so many times".

Moreno said the alleged leak by WikiLeaks is a breach in a "protocol" with Assange that allows him to remain in the London embassy in exchange for his public silence on all political matters.

While Moreno did not explicitly blame Assange for the hacked calls and provided no evidence, his remarks reflected ongoing tension between Assange and Ecuadoran officials.

However the straw that appears to have broken the camel's back in this instance was the recent leaking of sensitive documents not strictly published by definitely facilitated by WikiLeaks that levelled accusations of corruption against Ecuadorian President Lenin Moreno, which feels extremely bite-the-hand-that-feeds-ish but go off I guess.

Wikileaks made the claim in a tweet and quoted a high-level Ecuadorian government source.

Curry credits contacts for boost in 3-point shot
Stephen Curry has made at least five three-pointers in nine consecutive games, shooting 51.4 percent during the stretch. That's a stark contrast to his first half of March, where he shot just 35.2 percent from beyond the arc in six contests.

"If President Moreno wants to illegally terminate a refugee publisher's asylum to cover up an offshore corruption scandal, history will not be kind", WikiLeaks said in a statement.

Assange has been holed up in the building since 2012, when he applied for asylum there to avoid being extradited to Sweden to face sexual assault charges.

The Swedish chief prosecutor dropped proceedings against him in 2017 because going ahead and serving notice of charges would necessitate Mr Assange's presence in court.

Some time around March a year ago, Ecaudorian officials cut off Assange's access to phone and internet services inside the embassy (he wasn't paying for them). Then in October, Assange filed suit against Ecuador after they decided to make him, among other things, clean his own bedroom and bathroom and pick up his cat's shits.

Assange, who was granted Ecuadorian citizenship a year ago in an apparent effort to designate him a diplomat and allow him to go to Russian Federation, sued Ecuador for violating his rights as an Ecuadorian.

The leftist Ecuadorian government that offered asylum to Assange had been embroiled in a diplomatic row with the United States involving a leaked USA diplomatic cable.
