There isn't a Saturday or Sunday golfer in Ireland that hasn't done what Zach Johnson has just managed at The Masters this afternoon.

Former champion Zach Johnson has been involved in a freaky incident during the second round of the Masters, accidentally hitting his ball while taking a practice swing. It went straight right into the tee marker, and then ricocheted to the left about 5 yards away.

Johnson took a few practice swings, but accidentally knocked the ball off of the tee.

The most impressive part of the sequence is that Johnson then stepped up and bombed a flawless drive down the middle of the fairway. Matt Kuchar, Ian Poulter and the caddies replied in unison that the shot wasn't intentional and there was no penalty.

Bayern: Lewandowski and Coman come to blows during training
According to the same media source, team mates Niclas Süle and Jerome Boateng were the first on the scene to try to separate Lewandowski and Coman .

Only his pride was hurt, since he was able to re-tee without a penalty because he did not intend to move the ball. "I know there's supposedly footage of every shot hit here at Augusta this year, and I'm hoping to see that footage at some point".

Here's Zach Johnson hitting a tee shot correctly.

Under United States Golf Association rules, a ball isn't considered to be "in play" until it's actually hit from the tee area.

After the initial shock the Englishman said Johnson saw the amusing side. "Maybe I've tried to do it, but I don't think I could do it again even if I tried".
