Not long ago, a bunch of pro American Football players got to play the new Call of Duty, with an official reveal for Modern Warfare rumoured ahead of E3 on 30th May, according to sources.

There's been a lot of speculation about where the next Call of Duty game will take us, with most of it squarely focused on the Modern Warfare series. Like clockwork, it's your annual Call of Duty leak. It'll be interesting to see how Infinity Ward and Activision handle the confusing title from a marketing standpoint, as they'll have to try to ensure that casual fans don't accidentally bamboozle themselves. A bunch of sources - many very reliable ones - have revealed that the new game will simply be titled Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and that the new game will have a dark, gritty tone inspired by the infamous No Russian level in Modern Warfare 2. That being said Jason Schreier's track record is pretty much ideal, so it does seem safe to bet on this information being correct. A remastered version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Modern Warfare Remastered, was released in 2016.
