Domino’s employee attacked co-worker for spoiling ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ police say

Top Talkers: The sequel to "Avengers: Infinity War" becomes the first film to pass $1 billion globally on its opening weekend, raking in an estimated $350 million in the USA and Canada alone.

A Domino's restaurant employee in Texas was written a citation after police say he assaulted a co-worker for revealing an "Avengers: Endgame" spoiler.

Authorities in Friendswood posted the news to the town's Facebook page in a "Police Activity Report" posted on Monday, confirming that police responded to the fast-food outlet on Sunday evening after receiving reports of an assault.

According to KTRK, the Domino's Pizza employee was livid his co-worker spoiled the record-setting Marvel blockbuster that's been more than 10 years in the making.

"That's hilarious", one Domino's customer told ABC13 in commenting on the reason for the attack. "That just seems kinda insane to me".

This is not the first time an assault made news because the victim allegedly spoiled the ending of a story. Last week, a man outside a movie theater in Hong Kong was attacked when he shouted out spoilers to fans waiting in line to see the movie.

In an online open letter, the film's directors, brothers Anthony and Joseph Russo, pleaded with fans to not share major plot points with others who haven't yet seen the flick.
