Jason Mitchell Dropped From ‘The Chi’ Over "Inappropriate Behavior"

Deadline also reports that the most recent allegation against Mitchell reportedly occurred off set during production of Netflix's Desperados, but the publication adds that Mitchell had reportedly engaged in "inappropriate behaviour" while on The Chi. He was then dropped from UTA and Authentic, and it was announced that he was being dropped from The Chi.

On The Chi, Mitchell plays a young man striving to do better for himself, his girlfriend and his family.

Additionally, Mitchell, 32, will reportedly not be returning for the upcoming third season of The Chi, now in its second season on Showtime, in which he stars as Brandon Johnson.

Deadline reported that Mitchell was also dropped by his management team at Authentic.

Boeing admits to flaw in 737 MAX flight simulators
Pilots were concerned about the anti-stall system and a lack of training, but Boeing said it believed pilots could handle it. He added, "The worst thing that can ever happen is a tragedy like this, and the even worse thing would be another one".

Meanwhile, Deadline reports Mitchell was sacked from the upcoming Netflix comedy Desperados and replaced by New Girl's Lamorne Morris after an investigation sparked by the off-set incident. The incident was investigated immediately and thoroughly, leading to Mitchell's termination from Desperados, in which he was to star opposite Nasim Pedrad, Anna Camp and Robbie Amell.

The actor was previously accused of assaulting a woman named Emily Marquez at a Boston hotel in 2016.

After a breakout role as NWA rapper Eazy-E in the 2015 box-office hit Straight Outta Compton, Mitchell joined the cast of The Chi ahead of its January 2018 debut.

Mitchell has also been dropped by his agent and an upcoming lead role in Netflix's western flick, Desperado. Showtime, Netflix and Fox 21 have declined to comment.
