Here's the secret to how James Holzhauer nearly lost on 'Jeopardy!'

Jeopardy! champion James Holzhauer continues to annihilate the competition thanks to his quick buzzers, seemingly endless knowledge and the strategy - going for big money first and hunting for Daily Doubles early - that is turning the game on its head.

Wednesday's win allowed Holzhauer to tie for second place on the game show's all time consecutive wins list.

He also now has an average daily winning of $76,400 that's nearly equal Roger Craig's old record for a single-game winning total of $77,000, offering another reminder of just how ridiculous his run is and how dominant he's been. Then he broke his own record. The contestant jumps around from category to category, choosing tiles out of order to throw off his or her opponents.
