Pokemon GO Raid Week guide Shiny Bronzor and 4 more updates

The Community Day is an event ideal for the coming warmer weather, as the event is meant to get people outside and playing "Pokemon Go".

Pokemon Go's Extraordinary Raid Week is now underway and will continue through 1pm PST / 4pm EST / 9pm BST on Tuesday, May 28.

The other good news is that Pokemon Go Trainer won't be waiting long for the new event to kick off. You'll also have a chance to catch a Shiny Lapras.

Before the new Community Day, fans can enjoy the new Raid Week event that's just begun. On Wednesday, May 22, Niantic will host a special Raid Hour from 6-7 PM local time, during which there will be more Raids occurring than usual.

Niantic has confirmed that during Raid Week, Shiny Lapras will be joining Raid Battles, while five Raid Passes will be available to pick up at Gyms at no cost.

If the Pokemon GO June Community Day's exclusive move is a fast move, even something like Scratch, it will make Pokemon GO's Slaking an absolute monster in the meta. The featured Pokemon this month was Torchic, the Fire-type starter from Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire.

- Evolve Vigoroth during the event or up to one hour afterward to obtain Slaking that know a special move! New and increasingly hard raids featuring different Pokemon will appear throughout the week, and you'll receive double Raid Stardust and XP for participating in any of them.
