Rapper Tyler, the Creator forced to cancel United Kingdom gig

The Guardian reports that the ban, which was originally imposed for three to five years, has expired.The FADER has reached out for further details.

He is set to perform a surprise show in the capital, teasing it on twitter saying: "LONDON, IGOR, 3PM" with a video of himself punching the air and running around on The Mall in central London.

Tyler, The Creator has announced details of two London shows. According to a now-deleted post, the rapper claimed it got "Too rowdy, cops canceled it, go home". Tyler's tweet incited massive crowds blocking the street and a few individuals climbing gates.

"They go [t] nervous".

One Redditor faced with the problem said, "I had two shutdowns yesterday, including overnight, causing me to miss my wake alarm". Undoubtedly Google will be all over this, but as yet they've not officially responded or even acknowledged the issue.

However, London's Metropolitan Police said the event had been cancelled by the venue due to overcrowding issues, adding that there were no crimes, reported injuries or arrests.

It's safe to say that Tyler has one of the most unorthodox approaches to any of his musical styles, and he's solidifying just that with his fifth studio album.

Tyler's provocative and sometimes controversial lyrics in his earlier material which ultimately led to the artist receiving a ban from entering both the United Kingdom and Australia.
