Redmi Note 7S First Impressions

Xiaomi has launched its brand new budget smartphone in India, the Redmi Note 7S. Being a midrange handset, expect the smartphone to come with a thicker chin but slim bezels on the other three sides. Given the fact that this company already has the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro on sale in the country, it was a little hard to understand why it would want to bring in another phone to confuse consumers. Xiaomi has now plugged this gap with the aggressively-priced Redmi Note 7S, which is essentially the same smartphone that was introduced as Redmi Note 7 in China. Another report has suggested that the Redmi K20 Pro will come to India as Poco F2, which seems more plausible as Xiaomi hasn't yet announced the successor to the widely successful Poco F1. The expected price for the phone is around Rs 10,000.

Coming to the display, the smartphone is equipped with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The handset offers a dot notch display design as is the trend in the industry. The use of glass on both the front and back makes this phone a little fragile, so consumers will need to be careful while handling the Redmi Note 7S.

Starting with the biggest upgrade, the Redmi Note 7s comes loaded with a 48-megapixel sensor and there is a 5-megapixel secondary sensor.

Call of Duty's 2020 release may be Black Ops 5
For over a decade now, Activision has established a clear pattern of alternating studios when it comes to its Call of Duty games. And according to the E3 organisers, Infinity Ward will be discussing the new Call of Duty in a panel at the Coliseum event.

The company's been teasing the smartphone as its second smartphone in India with 48 MP rear camera. The Redmi Note 7S could attract a lot of prospective Redmi Note 7 Pro buyers as well who were willing to spend slightly more just for the 48-megapixel sensor.

The only thing setting it apart froma regular Note 7 is the 48MP+5MP dual camera module with PDAF, EIS and AI Portrait Mode. The device houses 13MP front camera with AI Portrait mode. Users can further expand the storage by adding a microSD card. The smartphone is backed by a large 4,000mAh battery, similar to other Xiaomi devices. It also supports type-C and Quick Charge 4. In terms of connectivity, the Redmi Note 7S includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5, GPS/ A-GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, IR blaster and more. It has a rear-fingerprint scanner and also comes with p2i nano-coating for splash resistance.
